Which Quick Shoe Do I Need for My Tripod?
While most of Vanguard's current quick-release plates in the Quick Shoe series are Arca-Swiss-compatible -- meaning they fit a universal standard for size -- some models fit differently either because they were produced before Arca-Swiss became the industry standard or they need to fit a specific design of the tripod (for example, a large plate for a video head).
If the tripod head is made to Arca standards, then you may choose from several different Arca-compatible plates. Keep in mind that the "best fit" is typically the Quick Shoe (QS) model that comes standard with the head.
