Brynn Bromley discovered her love of visual and performance arts at a young age, and the two were forever linked. After graduating from AMDA in Hollywood, she started working as an actress and joined SAG-AFTRA. Missing her time behind the camera, she then made the switch from film to digital and returned to college to study the craft, from studio lighting and photojournalism to the history of photography. While also employed as a dancer, brand ambassador, and model, she turned her garage into a photography studio with the help of her talented father. She started photographing actors, dancers, musicians, live theatre, production stills, and boutique clothing brands as well. You can see some of her work online at Nordstrom.
A spontaneous move away from the city after the covid lockdown (and being immunocompromised) motivated her to develop a new creative outlet: self-portraits. Bringing these ideas to life, and sharing her process behind the scenes helped Brynn reconnect with her love of performance. Whether exploring grief or joy, fear or courage, or any number of emotions and ideas, she is honest and open about her experience and will continue creating thought-provoking images in her next chapter.
As a studio photographer with a wanderlust, Brynn also craves spontaneity and adventure. Always packing her camera led to a first-place prize as a professional in the 2025 International Photography Awards for the Travel category. Brynn will soon explore North America in a 1950s-style camper, growing her travel and street portfolio while continuing conceptual self-portraits, playful pinup, and environmental portraiture. She looks forward to exploring a much bigger canvas than her garage, while documenting mid-life on the road and the interesting people she meets along the way. As her own photographer and model, Brynn has been invited to represent several brands of which she was already a fan. When she turned professional, and her concepts outgrew her gear, a reliable and feature-rich tripod became essential. She’s been a fan and a customer for many years, and is thrilled to be a part of team Vanguard!
