Under extremely stringent quality assurance processes, all VANGUARD products are tested repeatedly under the most extreme conditions and situations to ensure that all products are made to perform well for years. For example, waterproof and fogproof optics undergo a thorough quality assurance test that includes nitrogen charging and being submerged in water. Each binocular and spotting scope is submerged in 36 inches of water for 30 minutes. Following this, each item is thoroughly reviewed to ensure it is 100% waterproof and fogproof. Only products that have successfully passed all strict quality assurance processes make their way to the shelves of stores around the world. Additionally, every tripod undergoes a meticulous inspection that includes weight capacity checks and functional performance testing of each working part. Only tripods that score a 100% performance rating make it to the packaging department. |
