Vanguard – Pro Staff

VANGUARD Pro Staffers are winning local, state, national and world archery championship titles, raising funds to take servicemen and women injured in the line of duty and terminally-ill children on adventurous hunts, managing popular ranges and shops, teaching archery in after-school programs, leading regional archery associations and clubs, and more. Though they're diverse in experience, age, background and industry involvement, VANGUARD's Pro Staff members share common loves: Archery, the outdoors and VANGUARD sporting optics. Scattered across North America and in Australia, too, this mix of energetic teens to seasoned pros with decades of experience all agree: VANGUARD binoculars and spotting scopes run laps around the big-name optics they used before discovering us.

For avid outdoorsman and family man Charlie Owens, archery has been an important part of his life for 22 years. He is happy to spread his knowledge and expertise about archery and the outdoors to new archers. He's even been dubbed"an archery Jedi." Charlie's knowledge comes from competing as a pro for nearly a decade. He competes in the Limited Pro class and is a member of Mathews Pro Staff among others.

When Charlie is not competing, he enjoys fishing, hunting, riding 4 wheelers and Mopar muscle cars and spending time with family and friends.
