VANGUARD Pro Staffers are winning local, state, national and world archery championship titles, raising funds to take servicemen and women injured in the line of duty and terminally-ill children on adventurous hunts, managing popular ranges and shops, teaching archery in after-school programs, leading regional archery associations and clubs, and more. Though they're diverse in experience, age, background and industry involvement, VANGUARD's Pro Staff members share common loves: Archery, the outdoors and VANGUARD sporting optics. Scattered across North America and in Australia, too, this mix of energetic teens to seasoned pros with decades of experience all agree: VANGUARD binoculars and spotting scopes run laps around the big-name optics they used before discovering us.

Favorite VANGUARD product: Endeavor ED 1045 binoculars
When Gary Littlefield started shooting a bow as a teenager, he was the first in his outdoor-loving family to take up archery. More than 30 years later, he's so grateful that he took a chance on trying something new.
Gary joined the Armed Forces shortly after high school and took his first whitetail deer at his first duty assignment. While serving, he met people from all over the world who loved archery and encouraged him to consider shooting competitively.
Years later, Gary won the NFAA New Jersey State Championship in his first year. Today, Gary frequently places in the top three in field archery and FITA competitions in the New Jersey area.
Gary first heard about VANGUARD at a competition from a fellow Bowtech Pro Staffer and was compelled to try them for himself. He immediately dropped his longtime optics brands for VANGUARD.
"Endeavor ED is amazing!" Gary said."The clarity in all light conditions is just unbelievable. I consider Endeavor ED to be part of my primary shooting equipment during all competitive archery events. The clarity and flawless performance combined with the ease of operation makes this is the best I have ever owned. I can count on them to let me know if a sight adjustment is needed on an 80-yard NFAA Field target or a 90-meter FITA. Well done, VANGUARD! You have managed to provide the perfect package in a practical price range."
Gary is now retired from the Armed Forces and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, who share his love of the outdoors and archery.
