VANGUARD Pro Staffers are winning local, state, national and world archery championship titles, raising funds to take servicemen and women injured in the line of duty and terminally-ill children on adventurous hunts, managing popular ranges and shops, teaching archery in after-school programs, leading regional archery associations and clubs, and more. Though they're diverse in experience, age, background and industry involvement, VANGUARD's Pro Staff members share common loves: Archery, the outdoors and VANGUARD sporting optics. Scattered across North America and in Australia, too, this mix of energetic teens to seasoned pros with decades of experience all agree: VANGUARD binoculars and spotting scopes run laps around the big-name optics they used before discovering us.

As a young boy, Ben Ritchie had an obsession with wildlife and the outdoors. It began with small game hunting with his father. Ben quickly honed his skills and moved to duck and whitetail deer hunting. By his late teens, Ben knew he would bowhunt whitetails in his home state of Wisconsin for the rest of his life.
To improve his accuracy, Ben took up competitive shooting. Within a few years, he was winning local and regional IBO and ASA events. After 10 years, he's still shooting and considers it his favorite pastime.
As a Bowtech Pro Staff member, Ben began hearing a lot of buzz about the quality of VANGUARD optics among his peers and thought he'd give them a try himself. He was impressed.
"VANGUARD optics can compete with any other brand on the market," Ben said."They outperform brands that are significantly more expensive. No matter if I am in the woods or at the tournament line, I trust my Endeavor EDs."
Ben believes strongly in the importance of passing on his love of the sport to young people. In his spare time, Ben coaches local 4H shooting sports program and works at a local archery shop helping others fulfill their passion in the great sport of archery.
