VANGUARD Pro Staffers are winning local, state, national and world archery championship titles, raising funds to take servicemen and women injured in the line of duty and terminally-ill children on adventurous hunts, managing popular ranges and shops, teaching archery in after-school programs, leading regional archery associations and clubs, and more. Though they're diverse in experience, age, background and industry involvement, VANGUARD's Pro Staff members share common loves: Archery, the outdoors and VANGUARD sporting optics. Scattered across North America and in Australia, too, this mix of energetic teens to seasoned pros with decades of experience all agree: VANGUARD binoculars and spotting scopes run laps around the big-name optics they used before discovering us.

Mark Seeley

Location: Ridgeway, WI
Favorite VANGUARD product: Endeavor ED 1045 binoculars

Mark Seeley believes the best gift you can give another human being is an introduction to the great outdoors.

That's why this lifelong outdoorsman is an ambassador to the world of archery, hunting, fishing and camping for youth and physically disabled individuals. Mark works closely with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to manage and conduct programs designed to get youth interested in the outdoors. He also works with Adaptive Sportsman, Inc. and volunteers his time to take physically disabled hunters back into the woods.

Mark is a vocal fan of VANGUARD optics.

"Boy, what an awesome pair of binoculars!" Mark said."Very clear and colorful images, even in the low light conditions of dusk! Best pair I've ever used. Nicer than binoculars I could pay $1,000 for!"

Mark is an accomplished shooter as well. In 1996 and 1998, he took first place in the Wisconsin Bowhunter Championship but these days, he prefers to devote his time to his volunteer work.

The rest of his time and energy is spent working on becoming the best whitetail and turkey bowhunter he can in Wisconsin, just as he did as a child.

Mark is a certified Wisconsin Hunters' Education instructor and a sought-after seminar leader too. Mark teaches 15-20 turkey and deer hunting seminars and live archery shooting demonstrations every year at major outdoors stores.

When he's not teaching, Mark and his wife enjoy, you guessed it, hunting, fishing and camping together.
